| 6th Annual Science Fair Was Huge Success |

HSA Science Fair Results and News!
On December 10th, Harmony held our school wide science fair. Because of our pride in our science department and academic emphasis on Math, Science, and Engineering, the event had over thirty well qualified judges ensuring quality results. We also had a special guest speaker Norma Favela, our District Clerk elect who gave an inspiring speech to our students. There were Elementary ,Middle School and High School divisions and 4 categories for each division(Life Science,Physical Sciences,Math/Computer/Engineering Sciences,Behavioral Science) .Some of the highlights among the student projects were the organic sources of energy, the abundance of engineering projects, and the surprising amount of Behavioral Science projects. The trophies (the top awards) went to Suzanne Atiya in elementary, Michael De La O in middle school, and Aziz Atiya and Jose Perez in high school. We wish these students and the many that qualified for regionals good luck in the city-wide competition February 25th. Good luck to all of you!
