Dr. Sahin in Harmony's Research Department has announced a new book focusing on Harmony's approach to STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and mathematics). The book titled "STEM Students on the Stage (SOS)" is now available for purchase.
The STEM S.O.S. model is a rigorous interdisciplinary teaching approach that is teacher facilitated, student-centered, and directed through a sequence of student projects. In contrast to the other PBL models on the market, this model is standards focused; and a substantial part of PBL completion takes place out of the classroom in a digital environment. The book provides insight into Harmony's practices. It also shares data with the education community on how this approach has impacted students.
